Project Manager (HVAC)

We are an expanding engineering consultancy business based in Ipswich, Suffolk. We are looking for an additional full-time project manager with experience in the commercial / retail sector with heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning experience.

We have team members that are spread across the country. Therefore, remote working anywhere in the UK is an option to support our clients premises. The types of roles and responsibilities to be fulfilled will include: –

• Attending site surveys and meetings
• Creating scoping documents
• Collating project costs, financial reporting and project tenders
• Ensuring all works are CDM compliant
• Project programming
• Client, supplier and contractor liaison and technical guidance
• Internal design and procurement team liaison and work planning
• Installation reviews and specification adherence
• Undertaking snagging reviews and project sign off / close out

The successful candidate will be very comfortable working with Microsoft Office software and would ideally have a background that covers mechanical works in the food retail sector. This is a full time, 5 days per week (37.5 hours per week – flexible) permanent position and the salary will be competitive and negotiable subject to experience.
