Project Controller

We are a growing engineering consultancy business based on the outskirts of Ipswich. We are looking for a full-time office-based project controller to undertake general office / project related administration.

The successful candidate will be very comfortable working with Microsoft Office software and would support with business finance's including invoicing, payments, purchase orders and cost and sales spread sheets. As well as tracking project deliverables.

It would be useful if the candidate could use QuickBooks to support with the Oaksmere accounts for invoicing and sales orders and Oracle for our client project purchase orders. There is a requirement to communicate verbally and in writing generally via e-mail with the internal team and external clients. Therefore, good communication skills are essential.

Project Manager

We are a growing engineering consultancy business based on the outskirts of Ipswich. We are looking for an additional full-time project manager. Whilst the office is based in Ipswich, we do employ various team members that work from home. Therefore, remote working is an option. The types of roles and responsibilities to be fulfilled will include:

• Attending site surveys / meetings (UK wide)
• Creating scoping documents
• Collating project costs and financial reporting
• Offering direction to the Internal design and procurement teams
• Ensuring all works are CDM compliant
• Project programming
• Customer, supplier and contractor liaison
• Installation reviews and sign off

Our typical projects cover the following disciplines for clients in the retail/commercial sector:

• Refrigeration & Catering
• HVAC
• Electrical/Controls
• Mechanical handling
• Lifts & Escalators

The successful candidate will be very comfortable working with Microsoft Office software and ideally would have a background that covers electrical installation works. This is a full time, 5 days per week (37.5 hours per week – flexible) permanent position and the salary will be competitive and negotiable subject to experience.
